[a long groan of displeasure and the telltale rustling of sheets is the only response for a while, but he doesn't hang up.]

[he had just fiiiinally drifted off to sleep with his arm hanging over the side of the bed when his phone jumps to life in his hand. it takes him a moment to register that it's vibrating for a moment before it slips out of his hand. naniwa's speed star isn't so speedy at 2am when he's half asleep. he finally retrieves the phone on the last ring and kinda mumbles into it without looking at the display before answering.]

M'hey... 'sup?

[Deep, foreboding villain voice]

[instantly awake, pushes himself up onto his elbows]

Hello? Who is this? Do you know what time it is? [starts to wake up, less groggy] In case you were unaware, it is very late. I think it's rude that you would call and wake me up at this hour. Unless it was an emergency, then I think I could forgive you. Is it an emergency? Are you in some kind of trouble? Do you need help? [Is very tempted to just hang up, but when he gets an opening]

Tachibana-san has a fan club? Who runs it? How long have they known Tachibana-san? I didn't know he had one. I didn't know I needed approval to talk about my friend. I think it's stupid to need permission to post about him. Fan clubs can't control that sort of thing anyway, so I don't care if they're upset. It's not illegal for me to talk about Tachibana-san, so I'm going to continue to talk about Tachibana-san whenever I want. If they don't like it, well, I don't care. They can get over it and focus on more important things.

[There is a long pause while the cogs in Shuuji's sleep-addled brain turn very slowly. Hikaru... is in trouble???]
