He hardly needs to me to provide any extra pictures. And he knows I'm always willing to pose for his sketches. Even more so if I can meditate, study or do something productive while he does it

Only in calligraphy. I enjoy crafting a new hanging wall scroll for the meditation room at least once a season.

I did a new one last week when the weather started to turn warm. It's a haiku by Basho.

The spring haze.

The scent already in the air.

The moon and ume.

ooc: Unfortunately Japanese haikus always sound a bit awkward in English. Here's the original --> 春もやや 気色ととのふ 月と梅 Also, Basho is a super famous poet from the 1600's and is well known by basically everyone even if they only vaguely recall any of his works they learned about in school.

Nice one, I haven’t read Basho since high school. Might have to refresh, since this semester will be a bit more traditional for me.
